The mission of Messiah Housining Corporation is to develop and sustain decent, affordable housing for low-to moderate income individuals and families to help revitalize the Islandview Village Community and improve the quality of life for all residents.

Messiah Housing Corporation was incorporated in March 1978 and was one of the first Community Development Corporation (CDC) in the nation. Messiah Housing Corporation is an organization experienced in developing, purchasing, rehabilitating, constructing and managing property.
CMHC’s Housing Services handles the marketing and leasing of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) financed properties owned and managed by CMHC. Church of the Messiah Housing Corporation’s (CMHC) Property Management Division handles overall property management for St. Paul Manor Apartments (36 units), Kingston Arms Apartments (24 units), El Tovar Apartments (72 units), and Islandview Village Townhouses (44 units). Six full-time staff oversees all marketing and leasing of CMHC properties, tenant screening and qualifying for tax credit compliance and Section 8 income certifications, rent collections, evictions, and building and grounds maintenance.
